1. Introduction
By continuing to use the Service after being presented with a cookie consent banner, you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with this policy and the preferences you have selected. You can change your cookie preferences at any time, see Section 6 below.
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, provide a better user experience, and supply information to the website operator.
Similar technologies include web beacons (also known as pixel tags or clear GIFs), local storage, and scripts that collect information about how you use the Service.
3. Types of Cookies We Use

Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to collect information about how the Service is used. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect standard internet log information and visitor behavior information in an anonymized form. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the Service is transmitted to Google. Google’s privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
We have implemented the following privacy-enhancing configurations for Google Analytics:
- IP anonymization is enabled (where supported by the analytics configuration).
- Data sharing with Google for advertising purposes is disabled.
- Data retention is set to 26 months.
Contentsquare: We use Contentsquare to collect behavioral data about how users interact with solvapay.com, hosted checkout pages, and the provider dashboard. Contentsquare uses cookies and scripts to record interactions such as mouse movements, clicks, scrolls, and page navigation. Personal information fields displayed on pages are masked by default. IP addresses are collected but deleted after 3 days. Contentsquare’s privacy policy is available at contentsquare.com/services-privacy-policy.
You can opt out of Contentsquare tracking by declining analytics cookies in our cookie consent banner or by adjusting your browser’s cookie settings.
Ahrefs Web Analytics: We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to collect privacy-focused website usage data, including pages visited, referrer URLs, browser type, device type, and approximate geographic location derived from IP addresses. Ahrefs Web Analytics is a cookieless analytics tool — it does not place any cookies on your device and does not store IP addresses. Because no cookies or similar storage technologies are used, Ahrefs Web Analytics does not require consent under the ePrivacy Directive. It is disclosed here for transparency. Ahrefs’ privacy policy is available at ahrefs.com/legal/privacy-policy.
3.3 Functional Cookies
We do not currently use functional cookies (cookies that remember your preferences such as language or region). If we introduce functional cookies in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
3.4 Marketing and Advertising Cookies
We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. SolvaPay does not serve advertisements and does not use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising or retargeting. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated and your consent will be obtained.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on the Service are placed by third parties. The third-party cookies we use are limited to those described in Section 3 above (currently, Google Analytics and Contentsquare). These third parties may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use the Service.
We do not control these third-party cookies. For information about how these third parties use your data, please refer to their respective privacy policies.
5. Cookies on Hosted Checkout Pages
When End-Users access SolvaPay-hosted checkout pages (e.g., to purchase a Provider’s product or service), strictly necessary cookies are placed to manage the checkout session and security. Analytics cookies are only placed with the End-User’s consent.
Payment card data entered on checkout pages is processed directly by our Payment Service Provider(s) and is not stored in cookies by SolvaPay.
6. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
6.1 Cookie Consent Banner
When you first visit solvapay.com, a cookie consent banner will be displayed allowing you to accept or decline non-essential cookies (specifically, analytics cookies). You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the footer of any page on solvapay.com.
6.2 Browser Settings
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically configure your browser to refuse all cookies, accept only certain cookies, or delete cookies that have already been set. Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.
Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers:
- Chrome: Settings › Privacy and Security › Cookies
- Firefox: Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences › Privacy › Cookies and Website Data
- Edge: Settings › Privacy, Search, and Services › Cookies
6.3 Google Analytics Opt-Out
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by:

7. Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. There is currently no industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. At this time, the Service does not respond to DNT signals. However, you can manage your cookie preferences as described in Section 6.
For California residents: We do not track users across third-party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore do not respond to DNT signals. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
8. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. For material changes, we will update the cookie consent banner to prompt you to review and re-confirm your preferences.
